Miranda and Alex wanted engagement photos here in the valley to commemorate where they’re living now, since their wedding will be back in the Midwest where they’re both from. We decided for a less-chilly option of the Colorado National Monument rather than up on the Mesa, and thank goodness we did because it was still pretty cold! When we drove up to the location we chose to explore, there was a lot more snow than we have left down in town. I love the blanket of white snow draped over the red rocks of the Monument. We got to play with some new spots and it was so much fun to see the park in a new light and get creative! Take a peek at some of my favorites from their engagement photos in Fruita:
