Addi and Chris were married in an intimate VRBO wedding on the Grand Mesa Saturday, surrounded by close family and friends. They perfectly accented the vintage nature of the venue with rentals from Stonewood Vintage; even Addi’s ring had a vintage feel to it and she wore an altered version of her mother’s wedding dress as well!
The two shared a first look on the property, followed by a private vow reading. They each exchanged vow books and read to themselves the promises that the other was making to them that day. If you are a private or quiet kind of person, this is a great way to speak from the heart and make those deep (and sometimes funny!) promises together, without a lot of spectacle or lots of people watching. I highly recommend it!
Rather than cake, the two served pies out of the old schoolhouse building that was brought to the property years ago, a super cute touch to the day! After dinner and mingling, everyone grabbed a signature drink served from Tipsy Trailer – a local mobile bar – for toasts.
The night wound down with the Shoe Game and a bouquet toss, and we made sure to get a photo of the newlyweds with their precious pup Peach (who one of said signature drinks was named after!) It was a sweet and intimate celebration for a perfectly sweet couple. Thanks, Addi and Chris, for inviting me along to document your big day!
