Elizabeth & Alex’s adventure session in Ouray & Silverton was filled with beautiful sunset light, spontaneous exploration, surprise waterfalls, ghost town, and a nearly-full moon. These two were married in a more traditional wedding back home, but wanted to get epic photos to capture this new adventure while they were in the mountains on their honeymoon. We explored some of my favorite parts of the San Juan mountains – arguably the prettiest part of the state – and enjoyed the alpenglow as the last light of the evening lit the peaks around us.
Adventure sessions are an amazing way to get those epic mountain portraits you see with elopements, but while still getting married in a traditional wedding! You can use them as engagement photos, day-after sessions for your wedding day, or like these two did on a honeymoon trip. You can get all dressed up in your wedding attire, or just come as you are.
