Elliott & Carson’s wildflower wedding at the Mountain Wedding Garden in Crested Butte was the most perfect summer celebration in the Colorado wildflower capital. Carson, being the ultimate crafter, DIYed so much of this day, from the table decor and embroidered flowers on her veil to the flowers on her shoes and signage around the party and so much more.
The day was created to be a reflection and celebration of one of their favorite times of year in Crested Butte: wildflower season. We got photos with the peak of the flowers – fields of yellow and red and purple and white as far as you can see. By getting their portraits out of the way before we showed up to the venue for the day, the pair could focus on their guests and spending meaningful time with everyone in attendance.
After the party, Elliott and Carson hosted a lake day with guests able to come, and we got to do day-after photos at the lake too. Hopping on their paddleboards and heading for a wildflower hike (Elliott had been studying for this moment!) made for a fun time before they spent the rest of the day connecting with their guests before everyone had to travel home.
