I'm based in Grand Junction, CO and capture the story & scenery of your favorite day. Serving Crested Butte, Ouray, Moab, Aspen and beyond!

Hey there, love birds and adventure seekers! Grab a cozy blanket and your favorite fall-flavored beverage, because I’ve got an autumn elopement story that’ll warm your heart faster than a pumpkin spice latte!

Picture this: A crisp fall day near Grand Junction, surrounded by aspen trees decked out in their golden best. It’s like Mother Nature herself rolled out the red (err… yellow) carpet for Lindsey and Victoria’s fall elopement near Grand Junction.

Our lovely brides chose to keep things intimate, inviting just their immediate family to witness their “I do’s”. And let’s not forget their four-legged family members – the dogs were there too, tails wagging and probably thinking, “Finally, our humans are making it official!”

As Lindsey and Victoria exchanged their personalized vows, there wasn’t a dry eye in the forest. Even the aspens seemed to be shedding golden tears of joy! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more magical, Victoria’s dad busted out his guitar, playing a traditional wedding song that the quaking aspens seemed to play percussion along to as the wind blew through their leaves.

After the music, each family member stood up to say a few words. It was so touching to hear everyone’s connections to the pair, their observations of when they knew the two were in it for the long haul, and their words of support about always having their backs.

After the ceremony, it was time to pop some bubbly! The group raised their glasses in a sparkling wine toast courtesy of one of their faves – Ordinary Fellow. And because no celebration is complete without snacks, our newlyweds channeled their inner cheese sommeliers and built a cheese board that made more than just the pups drool.

The group munched the snacks as we took photos and these game-lovers enjoyed a quick round of Pandemic. Nothing says “in sickness and in health” quite like saving the world from disease outbreaks, am I right?

As our time in the autumnal area came to an end, we whisked the group off to the Colorado National Monument for some truly epic photos. As the sun began to set on their perfect day, Lindsey and Victoria headed off to their dinner reservations with their group – a perfect fall day if there ever was one.

So here’s to Lindsey and Victoria – may your love be as enduring as the Colorado landscape, and your life together as sweet as that cheese board. Cheers to love, laughter, and happily ever after in the great outdoors! Sneak a peek at their fall elopement near Grand Junction:
