Meghan and Cody’s Orchard River View wedding in Palisade was a beautiful late summer day, complete with a little afternoon rain storm (a welcome addition for these two!) They met on Halloween, Meghan’s favorite holiday, and quickly hit it off.
Of planning their wedding and their Orchard River View venue, Megz told me, “We wanted it to match us. We both gravitate to black with pops of neutrals. We both like dark and twisty. We also like it to look clean and elegant. We knew our colors before we had any ideas of actually getting married. In comparison to other venues this was the whole package. We could have all the festivities in one place and people could move about as they please.”
Their friend and officiant talked about Meghan’s love of Grey’s Anatomy in their ceremony, a fun moment for me as I’ve been watching the series for the first time this season while editing. I loved the way the sky turned darker as the photos wound on, a little nod to the dark and twisty aesthetic. Sunset, of course, was also nothing short of incredible after the rain passed!
