Instead of exchanging personal vows during their ceremony of their Colterris Winery wedding, Jennifer and Brandon opted to exchange letters while they were getting ready the morning of the big day. This has been one of my favorite new trends I’ve seen come up! It allows you a private, intimate moment to make those promises to your soon-to-be-spouse, without the pressure and stress of hundreds of eyes on you. When each finished reading the other’s letter, they two independently grinned and said, “Well that was cute!” I couldn’t help but giggle a little bit at how in sync they are!

The two met as children, but were never on each other’s radar. It wasn’t until a fateful night at Naggy McGee’s soon after Brandon’s 21st birthday that they connected and hung out all night long. Five years later and the two were about to become husband and wife! Their ceremony and reception were held at the Colterris Winery Overlook in Palisade, and the day was incredibly beautiful. From their first look to their “I do’s”, Mt. Garfield watched over the events of the day. Jennifer chose dusty blues and coral florals to decorate the day and it all came together seamlessly! We were able to incorporate the orchard, vineyard AND their lavender field for portraits – I was in heaven!

Their reception was the epitome of a fun party, with food stations for dinner including sliders and wings! Brandon spiced up the night by orchestrating a late night donut bar, too. If you weren’t already planning one, you should maybe consider it! Brandon and Jennifer, thank you so much for including me in your beautiful wedding day. It was an honor to document it!
