You chose to elope to avoid wedding planning stress.

So why are you still spending hours on Google?

You're bringing your own photographer. They're amazing at what they do, but they're flying in from out of state and can't help you find that perfect alpine lake or navigate Colorado's self-solemnization laws. Or maybe your photographer just... doesn't do planning help.

Now you're drowning in browser tabs about permits, vendor searches in tiny mountain towns that don't show up on WeddingWire, and timeline questions that Google can't answer.

Here's the thing: Eloping shouldn't be this hard.

I'm Amanda, and I've spent 10 years living, working, and photographing elopements across Colorado's Western Slope, the San Juans, and Moab. I've helped hundreds of couples plan their elopements—and now I'm offering that same boots-on-the-ground expertise as a standalone service.

Whether you need a one-hour consultation to nail down your location or full concierge support from "we're engaged!" to "we're married!", I can help you stop spinning your wheels and start actually enjoying this process.

The Problem?

You're spending your evenings doing this:

Googling "best elopement locations near Telluride" for the 47th time

Trying to figure out if you need a permit for that location (and where to even get one)

Searching for florists, officiants, hair and makeup artists in towns with <2,000 people where people don’t even have a listing on Google

Building a timeline with zero idea how long it actually takes to hike to an alpine lake in hiking boots and a wedding dress

Emailing your out-of-state photographer questions they can't answer because they've never been to Crested Butte

But you actually want:

Someone who's been to Maroon Bells/Bridal Veil Falls/Dead Horse Point and knows which spots are worth it

Vendor recommendations from someone who actually knows these small mountain communities

Help navigating permits, parking, seasonal road closures, and all the logistics Google won't tell you

A timeline that accounts for reality (mountain weather, hiking in formalwear, golden hour at 9,500 feet)

To spend less time planning and more time being excited about your elopement

What makes me different from other elopement planners?

I've done this myself. I planned my own micro wedding (before it was even a “thing”) – I've been where you are, and I know how to help.

I've helped hundreds of couples plan. Every single couple I've photographed over the past decade has gotten planning help from me. This isn't new—I'm just finally offering it as a standalone service.

I understand the photography side. As a photographer myself, I know what your photographer needs to create amazing images—and I build that into your timeline and location selection.

I've actually been there. I'm not pulling location recommendations from Instagram. I've stood at these trailheads at sunrise, navigated the access roads, dealt with the permit offices, and know what works (and what doesn't).

I know these communities. Good luck finding the best florist in Ouray on Google. But I know her. I also know the officiant in Crested Butte who'll hike anywhere, the HMUA in Grand Junction who specializes in long-wear mountain makeup, and the permit ranger who's actually helpful.

There aren't many of us out here. Most elopement planners are based in big cities and work remotely. I live in these small mountain towns. I navigate these unique spaces daily. I know how things work here.

- Robyn & Jonathan

We decided to elope (which ended up being a micro-wedding) in late April/early May and worked with Amanda to elope June 14th. Her offerings not only include photography but orchestrating the elopement as well. she helped us find a location, officiant, flowers, and more. She has a really nice online portal that houses the payments, documents, vendor recommendations, tips, emergency checklists, etc. which made everything run really smoothly. Amanda is incredibly organized, kind, helpful, professional and an amazing photographer. We already got our preview of the photos and I’m so looking forward to receiving the finished photos in a couple weeks. HIGHLY recommend working with Amanda!"

Amanda was the best decision we made for our wedding day! The photos are exceptional and perfectly capture the scenery and vibe we were going for, but that’s only a portion of what Amanda provided. She helped give us planning guidance, organization, and reassurance throughout, which alleviated all the worries we had about eloping in a place we’d never been before.

"Alleviated all the worries"

-Haley & Nathan

Amanda went above and beyond for my elopement. I honestly cannot praise her enough. She was so communicative and responsive during the lead up to our ceremony. She answered all our questions about locations, vendors, and working with the national parks to get permits... I’d highly recommend working with Amanda. She is a true professional in every sense of the word."

"Went above & beyond"

- Kylie & Murat

Amanda did an amazing job on our elopement photos! She was incredibly organized during all the planning and sent incredibly helpful tips and ideas in the months leading up. Plus all her recommendations for other local vendors were fantastic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book you as my photographer to use planning services?

Nope! These services are available to any couple eloping in my coverage areas, whether you're working with me for photography or bringing your own photographer.

I already have a photographer. Will that be weird?

Not at all. Many of my planning clients have already booked their photographer (often someone traveling in from out of state). I'm here to fill in the local expertise gap, not compete with your photographer.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier, the better—especially for popular locations and peak season (June-October). But I've helped couples pull together plans with just a few weeks' notice, too.

Do you help with elopements outside these areas?

I specialize in Colorado's Western Slope, the San Juans, and Moab because that's where I live and work. If you're eloping somewhere else in Colorado or Utah, reach out—I might still be able to help or connect you with resources.

What if I only need help with one specific thing?

That's exactly what the a la carte services are for! You can book just a location consultation, just vendor recommendations, or just timeline help.

reach out >

Can I upgrade from an a la carte service to the full concierge package later?

Absolutely. Many couples start with a single consultation and realize they want more support. I'll credit your initial service cost toward the concierge package.

READY TO STOP GOOGLING AND START PLANNING?

Whether you need an hour of location advice or full concierge support from engagement to "I do," I'm here to help.

You chose to elope because you wanted something different—something easier, more intentional, more you. Let's make sure the planning process actually reflects that.
