Celeste and Blair’s summer wedding at Vista View Events occurred in summer mostly because of their occupations. They are both teachers, and as much as they may have wanted a fall wedding, summer is much easier and less stressful to accommodate. They kept a nod to autumn in their colors, with a touch of rust orange among the sage greens, all pairing excellently with the natural coloring around the venue!
Their ceremony was held on the deck overlooking the reservoir below, the cocktail hour following in the shady lawn beside the barn. Rib City provided dinner for the night and Be Sweet provided a cutting cake for the couple and cupcakes for all their guests. There were some Mexican traditions thrown into the reception like the Snake Dance “El Baile de la Vibora”. Blair’s buddies also brought a Stanley Cup for the hockey fan to celebrate the recent Avalanche victory, which made for some great photos and an even greater time! The sunset that evening was incredible, and we timed sunset photos perfectly for those glowing golden romantic pictures.
The two ended the night with a last dance and a limo ride off the property. Take a peek at some of my favorite moments from their summer wedding at Vista View Events:
