Lindsay & Chris’ Micro Wedding at Varaison Vineyards was an evening full of intentional connections, good food and fun, and the new adventure these two were embarking upon.
The evening started at cocktail hour as guests gathered at the historic vineyard near the heart of Palisade. The temps began to cool off, bringing us all into the best part of the day when it’s summer in the valley. We all made our way to the winery’s front lawn and circled around the old tree for a quick ceremony. The pair exchanged vows and rings, while the guests witnessed their union. Following the ceremony everyone went back to the covered open-air pavilion for a reception. Their dinner was grazing tables full of amazing food catered by the winery, with local mini pies for dessert.
After toasts from their parents, the couple announced a fun surprise for their guests and the party began! The dancefloor was packed with kiddos and one gorilla – a story for another time, perhaps. For now, enjoy some of my favorite moments from the micro wedding at Varaison Vineyards:
