Sarah and John’s wildflower engagement photos on the Flat Tops of Colorado was a session I’ve been excited about all summer. My couples are often taking me to cool new places around the state that I’ve never been to, but in this instance the area they chose for their engagement session was one I’ve wanted to explore for years. The two hunt and fish up there when they can, and it’s a unique space that they both hold dear. Coming from Nevada, the pair remarked at how green everything is here and they knew that they wanted wildflowers for their photos. Lemme tell you – the wilderness provided! The over-the-top snow we received this winter created the most incredible meadows to hop between for portraits. I loved how each new bend offered something new and even more beautiful. We even got to explore the edge of the plateau and stopped for a few photos there on our way back down for the evening. Words really don’t explain just how fun and incredibly beautiful the evening was, so take a peek at some of my favorite images from their engagement photos on the Flat Tops:
