When Stevie first told me about her and Clinton’s idea to have a Halloween themed wedding, I was already on board. The last quarter of the year is my absolute favorite time of year for all the amazing holidays. But when she gave me even more details about their plans, I was anticipating this wedding with excitement ever since!
Their wedding party were dressed up as witches and vampires, with the flower girls as jack-o-lanterns. Did I mention costumes were required? Heck yes! And if you “forgot” one, don’t worry — they had a box full of options for you to pick and put on!
The area was decorated in purple, orange, silver and black, complete with every detail themed perfectly. From dangling witches hats, glittery pumpkins, vampire teeth table cards, spider web and pumpkin cupcakes, and more. The day was absolutely perfect fall weather with the most colorful trees around the property. The DJ played lots of hits, and of course lots of Halloween themed music too, starting the night off with the Monster Mash that got everyone on the dance floor. There’s something just hilarious about looking around at a ceremony and the dance floor filled with costumed people. There was Joe Exotic and his tiger, a family in Alice in Wonderland group costumes, a mad scientist, a squirrel, a snail, Bob & Linda from Bob’s Burgers, and so much more. Words really don’t do this celebration justice – take a peek at my favorite moments from their Halloween themed wedding:
