Tyler and Molly have perhaps the cutest origin story I’ve ever heard.
When they were 9 years old, Tyler had a serious accident. Molly’s mom read about it in the paper, and told Molly about it. Molly didn’t know him, but decided to write Tyler a letter, one 9-year-old to another, wishing him to get better. She ended the letter “P.S. Do you have a girlfriend? Call me!” Years later in middle school Tyler looked Molly up in the yearbook. Eventually, they connected online almost by chance. Molly thought Tyler was pretty cute, so when she saw he had “pie” listed as one of his favorite foods, she started a random conversation with him that went something like “I see you like pie. I also like pie.” They began dating, only Molly had no recollection of ever writing that letter.
Tyler kept that letter all these years, showed it to Molly while they were dating, and eventually they displayed that letter when they were married.
Seriously, it’s movie-worthy in my book! I may or may not have shed tears (I’m a crier!)
Tyler and Molly gave their vows at Rustix in Humboldt, sharing a pie together after the toasts where their origin story was shared. Take a peek at their beautiful wedding day:[/wc_box]
