Willy and Emily are a truly amazing couple. Their Montrose wedding at Willy’s grandparents’ ranch was the perfectly stunning venue for their big day! Even their “how we met” story fits them to a T.

As Emily describes it, “It was like a scene out of Baywatch…” Both working at the public pool, she says she saw Willy before he saw her and let’s just say he caught her eye! She got his number from the employee book and randomly texted him, as one does haha, and they talked for days on end.

“About 3 months into our relationship I felt a little voice inside me say that this was the person I was going to marry. That same month he told me that he loved me. When he told me how he felt I thought I had imagined it because I felt so lucky that I was the one for him.”

The greatest thing about these two is how they can be serious but totally know how to have fun too. I got to see this firsthand in working with them! They were on top of every step of the planning, from engagement session and save the dates to invitations and their guest book design.

But the fun definitely came out once all the planning was done! Their first dance was all anyone talked about the rest of the night. Starting with a traditional slow dance, they soon switched into a montage of love songs and choreographed dance routine! As you can imagine, this resulted in lots of whistles and cheers from their guests haha. I heard several people tell Emily and Willy how perfectly “them” their dance was, and how no one in the family could ever top it!

The entire day was beautiful, and I’m so glad I got to spend it with such a wonderful couple and their amazing families. Thank you Emily and Willy for having me document your big day! Take a peek into my favorite moments:
