Rachel and her family have been family friends since we were little kids. We go way back. It was such a privilege to be able to capture her and Adam’s engagement over the summer, and then to fly home to capture their wedding day this fall! There were so many cute details and sentimental pieces incorporated. She had both her grandmothers’ hankies around her bouquet, and portraits of both their grandparents’ and parents’ wedding days. And that dress! Swooooon.
They tied the knot at St. Olaf Lutheran Church and celebrated with a reception at Rustix. Their colors were purple, sage and orange– the perfect, gorgeous colorful fall palette for the day! The dancing was aided by the music of the High Society Big Band, which is my new favorite thing. Let’s get back to live bands at weddings, yeah?
