Alison and Joe were married in a beautiful garden themed wedding on the perfect late spring day surrounded by loads of gorgeous flowers and their loved ones. Ali chose blush, fuchsia, greens and golds for their wedding colors, creating an elegant atmosphere! No detail of their garden wedding theme was left out — from the flowery invitation suite to the fresh flower hairpiece she wore. The guys were dressed casually with khakis and suspenders, Joe wearing a vest. Ali incorporated something old and something blue into her stunning bouquet with her grandmother’s brooch and a small patch of blue flowers.
The ceremony had one of the neatest traditions I’ve ever seen (and had never seen before!) that I definitely hope to see again. Rather than the traditional unity sand or unity candle, the two shared a moment watering a tree that will be planted in their backyard, symbolizing the growth of their love and marriage over the years and one day providing shade for their friends, family, and future children! It was absolutely the cutest. Another awesome tidbit from the wedding: Alison and Joe had their own personal snapchat filter for the event! It was so cool.
Ali made all of the flower jar arrangements down the ceremony aisle and the reception centerpieces herself, and the whole event looked stunning! Take a peek at their beautiful garden wedding:
