It is clear to me that this year’s weddings are going to be not only a celebration of love, but also of being together again after so much time apart. Annie and Taylor’s Palisade River Ranch wedding is no exception! Other than being married, they told me one of the things they were most looking forward to was seeing friends and family again after being apart due to the pandemic. Having extended family reunited and being able to dance the night away with old friends is such an excellent way to celebrate their new marriage!

I met up with Annie and Taylor at the getting ready rooms on the Palisade River Ranch property (such a huge bonus of this venue!) and could immediately feel the excitement and contentedness in the air. It was a feeling of peace and happiness that the big day was finally here! After the two were all dressed up, Sherronna pinned on Annie’s veil — her “something borrowed” as it was her mom’s veil too. Under a big tree on the property, with the bull mural that inspired Annie on their first venue tour in the background, Taylor and Annie shared their first look. I always love this moment when the two finally come together and have a moment alone to take in all the emotions!

Guests were escorted to the ceremony site by tractor ride, and the two said “I do” down by the river with Mt. Garfield towering in the background. After photos, the reception began back on the front lawn, where everyone danced into the night! After a year of mostly postponed weddings, it was so heartwarming to see people gathering and having a great time together again!
