Capturing Deanne and Pete’s engagement photos on the Grand Mesa was so much fun. We lucked out with perfect weather; even with a small layer of snow sticking around in the shady parts it was still a fairly warm day. The sun began to set along the horizon behind the lakes and we explored among the pine and aspen trees to find some incredible backdrops! There’s something just gorgeous about the blue lakes paired with the glowing trees at sunset that makes me feel extra lucky that this is my job.
