The smell of pasta filled the air of Two Rivers Winery, the same scent that started this whole story. Paige and Uriel met at Olive Garden. He was her server that evening, and they exchanged numbers. As so many great love stories go, they stayed friends for a few years before they started dating. Their Olive Garden beginning came full circle for their fairy tale wedding at Two Rivers Winery, almost eight years later!
Throughout the day Paige put little touches of Disney, sparkles, and magic to really pull together her fairy tale theme. Cinderella is her favorite princess, and it’s safe to say the day was nothing short of princess perfection! Complete with a fairy godmother (Paige’s sister) at the reception – ha! She gave her toast in the form of a performance, ending with a flash mob of all Paige’s loved ones welcoming Uriel to their family. It was pretty epic!
Their ceremony took place at Paige’s church, Victory Life Church, and even had Cinderella’s castle as a backdrop. They completed their union with a sand ceremony and a lazo ceremony true to Uriel’s Mexican traditions. Their mothers brought the lasso up and symbolically “tied the knot” around the two as they became one. Paige even gave her vows in Spanish, Uriel’s native tongue, to honor him and his family as she committed to forever!
With a lot of Uriel’s family coming from Mexico, it was really fun to witness the families joining together for the evening and everyone so full of love and happiness. Paige and Uriel, thank you so much for including me in your big day! Take a peek at some of my favorite moments from their fairy tale wedding at Two Rivers Winery:
