When they were married, almost three years ago now, Brennan and Laura put off their full honeymoon knowing they had just spent a fair amount on the actual wedding and wanting the honeymoon to be a special, planned, well-funded adventure. Flash forward to the end of May and they did just that! Venturing to Colorado from (coincidentally my birthplace!) the Twin Cities for the first time, we planned their honeymoon photos in Grand Junction at the Colorado National Monument – and had the BEST day!
We explored around the red sands and layered rocks as they allowed me several happy dances with how amazing the light and wildflowers were on the monument. Thank you, Brennan and Laura, for only laughing at me a little bit ha! I asked them about what they love to do together in their free time. Laura told me, “We love exploring Minneapolis/St. Paul (MN) craft breweries! Brennan bartends on-the-side at Urban Growler, the first women-owned brewery in MN! We’re always on the look-out for a good IPA or sour.” It was so fun hearing their adventures in nearby towns checking out breweries and awesome food joints. I definitely made some notes!
One of my favorite things about these two as we wandered was seeing them interact. The way they helped each other over the rocks, Brennan just knowing to lean in and smell her hair, the way Laura’s nose would crinkle whenever Brennan made her laugh – they are just the cutest and SO in love! Thank you both so much for allowing me to document such a special adventure in this season of your life. Take a peek at a few of my favorites from their honeymoon photos in Grand Junction:
