Amy and Elliot’s micro wedding at Amy’s Courtyard was an intimate and beautiful affair, finally reuniting family and friends after the pandemic for their celebration. The two met by chance at a show at Streets in Denver, and realized over time that they had a lot in common. Amy told me, “It turns out we had been going to the same shows and same places over the previous 10+ years and had tons of friends in common but had never met.”
Their wedding date was the 4-year anniversary of being together, and will forever be their anniversary moving forward! They tied the knot in a small ceremony under the gazebo at Amy’s Courtyard at Maison la Belle Vie. After pictures, the two shared a toast with their guests, said hello to their Zoom guests, cut the cake and shared a first dance. It was the perfect intimate affair with those friends and family who were able to come, especially who they had not been able to see for over a year. Amy and Elliot told me they’ll probably have a huge celebration for the first anniversary or something down the road where everyone they love can come, their friends’ bands can play, and everyone can enjoy being able to gather in huge parties again! Knowing them, it will be an amazing celebration when they can throw that party.
