Arianne and Bennett’s western wedding at Beaumont Hotel in Ouray was a perfect late summer celebration. When I asked them what drew them to the Beaumont, Arianne told me, “I wanted something small, historic and classic. All words that I would use to describe the Beaumont. We would drive through and stay a night in Ouray on our way to Telluride to ski. We found it to be such a quaint and beautiful mountain town.”
The hotel certainly creates a great backdrop for a timeless wedding. “I wanted to find a venue that would speak for itself- without needing to add many ‘extras.’ My mom and I harvested all the dried grasses ourselves and put together the alter and aisle pieces. Bennett is from Fort Worth, TX and we decided to highlight a western flair theme.”
I love the way the pampas grass connected Colorado to the plains of Texas and created this beautiful classic but western aesthetic.
After dinner in the ballroom, the party carried on in the courtyard beneath the strings of lights. Arianne changed into the coolest sequined jumpsuit for the fun, and the night ended with a sparkler send-off. Take a peek at my favorite moments from their western wedding at Beaumont Hotel:
