After moving here from the midwest, Billy and Bethany wanted engagement photos that reflected their new home in Grand Junction. With a love of the desert surroundings, we began planning their session around a Colorado National Monument engagement. I never cease to be amazed by the beauty of the monument! And sure, golden hour is nice and all, but I’m a big fan of the purple glow of the bookcliffs as the sun sets really low. The golden light draped over Billy and Bethany as we explored the nooks and crannies of the monument with their dog Leo. I’m proud to say I won over the little camera-shy pup!
