Before Cara and Ben’s Silverton engagement photos, I asked them how they had met. Cara told me, “We met when a mutual friend of ours held a “family dinner” for some friends. We both lived in the same apartment complex, but had never met until that night. Ben was goofy and telling jokes all night & I don’t think I had ever laughed that hard.”
When I met up with them down a mountain pass near town, I could instantly see what she was talking about. Ben told me, laughing, that he wanted every cheesy pose I could think of. From that moment on, we were laughing through the entire adventure!
He and Cara have been together six years now, and love exploring the outdoors as much as possible. We decided on a location out in the mountains to capture this side of their relationship. “We wanted to choose a setting that reflects who we are and what we like to do while we aren’t working. Being outdoors is a good way for us to both feel free from the pressures of work and to just relax!” On top of incredible views of several 14ers, we were treated to fall colors along the way too. It was such a beautiful evening.
