Justyne and Larson have had a long journey getting to their Ouray Elopement on Red Mountain Pass. We initially had the whole thing planned for another location back in the spring, but when the pandemic hit everything went out the window! They are the absolute best though and so flexible with the whole day. They knew what their elopement was about – their marriage – and everything else was just a bonus!
Larson and Justyne met by chance at a diesel event out in Salt Lake – her coming from GJ and him coming from Ohio! A chance meeting led to Justyne moving cross country to be with him, and the rest is history. Larson proposed in Justyne’s happy place, cuddled up at home with their two pups, with the most GORGEOUS morganite ring. They planned an elopement out in Colorado and we ended up capturing their Ouray elopement on Red Mountain Pass with some incredible mountain backdrops! These two were so much fun to capture; Larson is lighthearted and funny as hell and Justyne is just the biggest sweetheart.
We of course had to include their two pups in the photos, and Larson’s truck – a symbol of how the two met. It is always so special to get to meet the whole fur family! Paired with an old mining town and the last weeks of summer wildflowers, it was the most beautiful evening. Take a peek at some of my favorite moments from the elopement:
