Living in Grand Junction, I love how close we are to Moab! Weddings in Moab have a wide diversity in backdrops, from the local National Parks like Arches and Canyonlands, to the La Sal mountains and tons of BLM land, there are so many exciting "venues" to capture for a Moab wedding photographer.
Moab weddings and elopements are wonderful because of our longer season here west of the Colorado Rockies. Outdoor weddings can be held almost all year (ask me why I love Moab in winter!) with relatively uneventful weather and warm evenings. While July and August are extremely hot, the light lasts well into the evening allowing some of those golden hour celebrations I love, after the heat of the day has gone down. The purple glow of the La Sals and the way the red rocks change color at sunset is one of the prettiest colors in the world.

TOP moab WEDDING VENUES
Red Earth Venue - This newer addition to the Moab wedding venue scene is a venue with beautiful red cliffs around the property and floor-to-ceiling windows to make the space blend seamlessly with its outdoor grandeur. It is centrally located and easy to find, making it great for out-of-town guests, AND making it easy to run off to one of the parks for some extra epic portraits if you want.
Whispering Oaks Ranch – This Moab wedding venue is located outside of town near the La Sal mountains. It has beautiful mountain views, a rustic vibe, and is very spacious with lodging right on site!
Glamping Canyonlands - Another newer addition to the venue space in Moab is this glamping campground with luxurious tents to rent out, and beautiful desert views!
Red Cliffs Lodge – This venue is located just north of Moab, and has a restaurant and lodging right on site, quite convenient for your rehearsal dinner! With beautiful views of the red rock plateaus all around and the Colorado River alongside you to boot, it’s a great spot for a Moab wedding.
Arches National Park – If you’re planning a smaller celebration for your Moab wedding, Arches offers some wedding venue options too! With the bonus of being IN one of the most unique parks in the country, you’ll definitely have a one-of-a-kind wedding at Arches.
Under Canvas Moab – Possibly my favorite and dream Moab wedding venue to shoot at is Under Canvas Moab. A chain of “glamping” tent venues, Under Canvas offers high end camping for a unique experience. Perfect for elopements and intimate wedding celebrations!
Canyonlands National Park – Canyonlands offers some of the most popular wedding venues in Moab too! With the bonus of being IN one of the most unique parks in the country, you’ll definitely have a one-of-a-kind wedding overlooking the expansive, incredible canyons below.
Dead Horse State Park – Much like Arches National Park, if you’re looking for an elopement location in Moab, this one is stunning! You’ll get plenty of those sprawling red rock canyon views you’re dreaming of.

Let's Meet
We'll hop on the phone or Google Meet (or grab coffee!) to get to know each other and talk all about your dreams and ideas for the big day, and how I can help make your life easier. When you're ready to book you'll put $1k down as a retainer and I'll get to work!
Planning Journey
From there I'll send you my 124 page Elopement Guide and help with location ideas, scouting, emergency kit info, permits, activity suggestions, vendor recommendations, timeline creation, group photo lists, and so so much more. I will help you craft the most incredible day, with backup plans because life is life. You'll feel like you've never been so excited or prepared for anything before.
