Sam & Cloie | Fall Wedding in Parachute - Amanda Matilda Photography

When I walked into the vacation rental for Sam & Cloie’s fall wedding in Parachute, I was greeted with many questions about what I needed.

“Can I get you anything to eat?”
“Do you need any water?”
“Here, let me give you the full tour.”

The loving, caring atmosphere that surrounds these two was at an all-time high that day, and it was palpable. As I met Cloie while she and her squad were getting ready I could tell just how much support each of her friends and sisters had for her and this day. Everyone was there to make whatever we needed to happen, happen.

The weather, too, was on board for a perfect day. Swarms of orange and yellow leaves surrounded the ceremony site along the Colorado River. We were even graced with a huge bull elk crossing the river just yards away while we were capturing family formals – it was incredible to witness!

As anyone who knows Sam or Cloie would imagine, the reception was a full-on party. They had hired Peach Street Revival to do a set during the evening and it was the most high energy celebration! They absolutely nailed it – and even learned one of Sam’s favorite songs for the occasion. As the night wound down the vendor team said our goodbyes, but I know the party carried on well after!
