If you’re considering getting married at Vista View Events, this is the post for you! Planning your wedding at Vista View will be seamless and you’ll have good help on your side. As a photographer, this classy barn venue is one of my faves in the area. From amazing lighting to wide customization options, there’s so much to love here. Let’s talk about them all:

Getting Ready

Emily & Alec | Wedding at Vista View EventsVista View comes with a getting ready suite! Isn’t that the best?! Plus the room is so bright and airy that the photographs look incredible. You’ll be able to do hair and makeup in the big mirrors and your wedding party squad can be comfy in the chairs or bench seating during the morning. The only thing to be aware of is if you have a LOT of members of your wedding party, the room could get cramped. If you’re having a bigger party get ready with you, consider if they could utilize the main area or come with hair/makeup already done.

Portraits

Connor & Molly | Spring Wedding at Vista View EventsThe portrait backdrops at Vista View are so beautiful. From the ceremony deck space and pathways behind that overlook the Harvey Gap reservoir, to the huge field and grassy area for a more mountainous background. If there’s enough of a break in the timeline you can even get photos over at the Harvey Gap shore for views of both the lake and surrounding mountains!

Wedding Ceremony Locations

Connor & Molly | Spring Wedding at Vista View EventsVista View offers multiple ceremony locations: the deck right outside of the barn that overlooks the reservoir, and the field space for larger ceremonies. They both offer beautiful backgrounds for your ceremony! The biggest factors are just your guest count and if you have a preference between the lake or the field. In case of a rainy day, you can also use the barn for a covered option, which is a great backup plan!Emily & Alec | Wedding at Vista View Events

Wedding Reception

Most wedding receptions at Vista View take place in the white barn on the property. This space can hold up to 200 guests and is very customizable in terms of decor. It’s such a blank canvas there’s really so much you can do! From drapery to up-lighting, and honestly even the color of your lines makes a huge impact on the feel of the room. The white interior is great for photography too and helps your images look well-lit and bright!
