Maranda and Jarrett had the perfect weather for their Silverton elopement! Even though wildfire smoke had taken over most of the state, obscuring the mountain views in many places, our views in the Silverton area were just incredible. Maranda and Jarrett were high school sweethearts, and have been together for seven years! I asked Maranda what made them consider eloping, and she had this to say:
“When we were in the middle of planning our traditional wedding, the excitement quickly turned into dread and was overwhelming! We’ve always loved to explore new places, and the idea of an intimate ceremony in the mountains brought the excitement back!”
The two exchanged vows and rings in front of a few family members near an alpine lake, followed by a private photo session in the mountains and a toast with some bubbly! The sun setting along the mountains on the horizon gave us the most perfect light possible as we explored some incredible overlooks and trails near lingering wildflowers.
